Biography
Rabbi Chaim Pinto (1749–1845) was a revered rabbi and kabbalist of Mogador (Essaouira), Morocco. The founding figure of a major rabbinic lineage, he is renowned for his piety and charity. His tomb in Essaouira draws pilgrims each year.
